Harry Potter and Audio Books!
Last month I got to practice some voice over training with the Sag/Aftra Foundation and hone in on my audio book skills. It was a class around Halloween so we got to work on some scary stories. I choose one of my favorites from the Harry Potter world.
The Tales of Beedle the Bard
If you are Harry Potter fan than you may know that this book came after the main set and has a few short stories from the wizarding world. I chose “The Tale of the Three Brothers” which tells the story of how the deathly hallows came about.

Script Reading!
Last week I had the joy of being a part of a screenplay reading with The Drawing Board. The Drawing Board helps writers in various stages of development to move forward through table reads, workshops, and staged readings.
It was so nice to be a room full of people who were focused on the goal of supporting writers by dedicated time to allow writers to hear their scripts read by actors. Which is such an important piece in theatrical writing development. I can’t wait to do it again this Month. And hopefully one day i’ll get to hear one of my scripts read by the TDB team.
